gut talk

You’ve Got Guts – Poem

You have a gut, listen to it

And listen to it straight

It will steer you in the right direction

Don’t weight upon the garden gate

Our guts are made of everything

Everything we’ve seen

They have taken in our environment

Stuffing in between

Folds and folds of cells

Working through all they’ve been

Processing and producing

What you could call obscene

Guts tell you when you’re happy

They tell you if somethings wrong

Just when you think all is well

They can start up a little song

Persuading against the gut myself

Has left me rather sick

Now my advice to others is

Listen to your guts and listen quick

End.
