Daddy’s Mistake Girl – Poem

I ain’t never had no one

Not one living soul

My mind is a sewer

My life is a goal

Perhaps if you loved me

Encouraged a bit

Gave me some caring

I’d not have to split

You didn’t keep me safe

You’re cold towards me

I was your deposit

Through me, you were free

It was so easy for you escape

Hogtie and run away

Too fake for attention

Leave me for another day

The day that never came

Simply put in place

No man can love a baby

Who reminds them of their mistakes

End
